King Fahad Medical City consists of four hospitals (main, Children’s, Women’s Specialized, and Rehabilitation) and four centers (Cardiac, Hematology & Oncology, Neuroscience, and Diabetic) and has more than 5,000 staff, including 700 physicians. Occupying an area of 500,000 square meters, King Fahad Medical City can provide specialized treatment for more than 50,000 inpatients and more than 600,000 outpatients annually.

The Saudi Cancer Society is a nonprofit charitable organization, supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs, whose mission is to minimize the effects of cancer within Saudi Arabia. To achieve its mission, the Society has established social support, cancer prevention, early detection, public awareness, information center, second opinion, cancer center support, technology transfer, herbal medicine evaluation, registry support, and palliative care programs. The Saudi Cancer Society established the first nationwide cancer screening center, the Abdullatif Charitable Screening Center.
