In this presentation, Dr. Anderson discusses recent advances in breast cancer surgical techniques and the evolution of breast cancer surgical treatments from radical mastectomy to current state of the art breast conservation techniques. He also discusses his work with the Breast Health Global Initiative and its mission to implement and study evidence based, economically feasible, and culturally appropriate guidelines for international cancer control and care.
